Bar Burrito – Glasgow’s Mexican Heaven

Since taking over Pinto last year Bar Burrito have brought Glasgow’s Mexican game to a whole new level with vibrant restaurants and a fantastic food. They have taken the concept of Pinto an improved massively in key areas to offer a healthier and more enjoyable eating experience.

The chain has plenty of exciting additions to their menu to enjoy such as their superfood Burrito which provides 4 of your 5 a day, a loaded burrito and small burritos for those who don’t have a big appetite.

Bar Burrito allows you to select from an extensive variety of options such as my personal favourite, the spicy shredded beef nachos, but also offers combinations like chicken quesadillas, veggie burrito or pulled pork tacos all with a selection of sauces and vegetables that will send you to a spicy heaven. In even more exciting news their Queen Street branch is hosting a Man V Food Burrito Challenge on Monday 26th September. Think you could do stomach it? Well, for a £10 entry fee you have to try and finish as many as possible in 10 minutes so you may want to avoid going for double meat. The winner gets free burritos for a month so even if you lose you’ll at least still get all-you-can-eat burritos during your attempt.

Students will be getting offered half price burritos during Glasgow’s Fresher’s fair on the 21st and 22nd of this month, but don’t worry if you can’t make it, you will now receive 20% off in store with the use of your student card all year round.

If the sound of this has got your taste-buds tingling then make sure you head to a Bar Burrito near you – or if you don’t have time you can now order your favourite dishes from their site. Just don’t think you’ll be winning that Burrito challenge too easily though, I’m already in training…
