My Top 10 Films to See in 2015

This is my list of the top 10 films that I want to see in 2015.

10. Sinister 2

The first instalment made me almost walk out of the cinema I was that scared. This will be a definite must-see for all you horror junkies out there.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on 21st of August.

No trailer has been released.

9. Furious 7

Paul Walker’s final film should not disappoint. This time it is Deckard Shaw seeking revenge against Dominic Toretto and his family for the death of his brother. With fast cars, explosions, gun fights and a strong cast it’ll be sure live up to expectations. It could potentially be one of the last in the Fast & Furious franchise too.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on the 3rdof April.

8. Terminator Genisys

He is back. The latest in the Terminator series focuses on Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) teams up with John Connor’s mum Sara and an aging terminator to try and stop “Judgement Day”.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on the 3rdof July.

7. Ted 2

After the huge success of Ted in 2012, Seth MacFarlane has decided to create sequel.  The plot is unknown at this time but the confirmed cast features himself,  Mark Wahlberg, Amanda Seyfried, Morgan Freeman and Liam Neeson so surely this should be a film to look out for this summer.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on 10th July.

No trailer has been released.

6. Get Hard

Will Ferrell playing his usual role in a comedy where millionaire James King is imprisoned for fraud. He has 30 days to get prepped before he ends up in jail.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on the 27th of March.

5. Hot Tub Time Machine 2

When Lou, who became “the father of the Internet”, is shot the rest of the group fire up the time machine again to save their friend. The first film was hilarious four years ago, so I’m hoping this will live up the hype.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on the 10th of April. – however, it comes out in America two months prior so hopefully a good link will be online by then.

4. Grimsby

This is Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest instalment of his controversial movies such as Borat, The Dictator and Bruno. This time it is England’s football hooligan’s time to be targeted and this film should hopefully not disappoint.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on the 24th of July.

No trailer has been released.

3. Avengers: Age of Ultron

I’m not usually a comic-book film fan; however this could potentially be fantastic. The Avengers which was released back in 2012 was a fantastic watch and hopefully this can live up to the hype. The sequel is based on Tony Stark trying to jumpstart a peacekeeping program, things go wrong and it’s up to the Avengers to stop Ulton from destroying the planet.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on the 24thof April.

2. Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens

This film will no doubt revive “the new Star Wars movies are shite: only the original 3 were good.” which is true to a point. However, I would say that even though the original trilogy was better I do think that the latest lot weren’t as bad as people make out. The latest instalment is set thirty years after the Return of the Jedi, but no-one really knows what to expect in terms of a plot.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on the 18thof December.

1. Jurassic World

There could not possibly be any other film which could knock this off of the top spot for me. It is no secret that I have a massive dinosaur obsession and this movie has me absolutely filled with excitement.  This comes out the day after I fly to Thailand, so I’m praying for advanced showings.

The film is set twenty-two years after the events in the original Jurassic Park, and now John Hammond’s dream has come true and the island has a fully functioning theme park. However, with visitor rates declining a new attraction is created, which predictively backfires horribly.

Comes to cinemas in the UK on the 12thof June.
